In the realm of fundamental physics, the enigmatic nature of dark matter (DM) continues to captivate the minds of researchers worldwide. Recently, light DM, mχ ≲ O(MeV), has gained much attention in both theoretical and experimental aspects due to tight constraints have been set for mχ ≳ O(GeV). Our research advances in understanding the interactions between dark and visible sectors through boosted DM (BDM) by supernova neutrinos (SNν). The proposed novel scenario presents a paradigm shift for directly measuring mχ through time-of-flight information in the sub-MeV region. We further utilize SNν BDM contributions from galaxies that have hosted all SNe from the past to the present-day, forming a diffuse flux that represents a persistent and isotropic flux which parallels the famous diffuse SNν background. This proposed novel scenario offers a unified picture that depicts the elusiveness of DM through innovative methodologies with great advancements which I'll delineate in this talk.
